We launched Zappos Running on Instagram with the goal of hitting 30K organic followers in six months. We crafted a strategy with a robust mix of content that featured product shoots, well-known health/running influencers, and one lesser-known one: rapper, actor, and activist, Killer Mike, who was just starting his health journey. It paid off, his mantra of “sweat today, don’t regret today,” coupled with his infectious personality, helped attract new social followers and led to Zappos Running’s most successful IG takeover to date.
